The 2013 TBR Pile

Last year I started compiling a 'series reading' list, chronicling all the various series on my TBR pile, and tracking my progress with each. Unfortunately, I spent far more time adding to the list than actually making any progress with the books on it. There are a lot of reasons for that, but none of them really matter.

What does matter is that I'm committed to doing something different this year.

So, for 2013, I have whittled things down to a top 10 list, based on a number of factors. For starters, I limited myself to those series already on my TBR list. Next, I looked to my fellow bloggers for help, making note of which of those series made their 2012 'best of' lists and/or 2013 'most anticipated' lists. Finally, I took note of the release dates for any forthcoming titles, so as to figure out whether I have time to catch up before release day.

The list is bound to change throughout the year, but for now I'm (tentatively) committing myself to the following:
