Stacking The Shelves: Week 41

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books we are adding to our shelves, whether they be physical or digital. This includes physical books bought, digital books downloaded, and those titles received for review.

New Acquisitions: Paperback Treasures

No new purchases this week...but not for lack of trying.

Seriously, we hit the mall twice this week, only to find it already closed. I miss the days when I could  browse the bookstore for hours, even sit in one of those super-comfy padded recliners and read for a while, but apparently books aren't essential in this Covid world, which I say is nonsense, but I can't change it, so I'll just have to plan better. :)

New Acquisitions: Digital Titles

An eclectic mix of digital downloads this week...

The Treasure Huntress by Ryan Mullaney dives into the adventures of heroine archaeologist Simone Cassidy as she explores mountain peaks and desert valleys in the hunt for the world's most sought-after and dangerous artifacts.

The How I Became a Futa Hucow trilogy by Bryce Calderwood is the story of Mia, who just wanted to get an amazing exposé about the origins of the hot new underground party drink, F Cream, and skyrocket her career as a journalist.

The Darwin Lacroix Series by Dave Bartell. introduces us to ancient wonders. Conspiracy in the halls of power. Darwin Lacroix, renowned archaeologist, defies skeptics and outwits deadly adversaries to make astonishing discoveries.

  1. I got that Dune book randomly too, and it appears to be a sequel so I doubt I'll be able to get to it any time soon!

    1. Yeah, not sure I'll get to it anytime soon either. I'm curious about the backstory it explores, but need to refresh my memory of the original books.
