New Acquisitions: Paperback Treasures
A nice mix of new books, used books, and online purchases this week
His Sacred Incantations is the second part of The Warrior's Guild duology by Scarlett Gale, and a sequel to one of my favorite books ever (check out my review).
Lucy's Blade by John Lambshead is said to be a Buffy-esque mix of science fiction, espionage, and magic with a young girl fighting the forces of evil for the Queen's Secret Service in Elizabethan England.
To the King a Daughter is the first book in the Cycle of Oak, Yew, Ash, and Rowan by Andre Norton and Sasha Miller about the power-hungry Queen Ysa and prophesized Daughter of Ash.
Triad completes my set of the Illumination trilogy by Terry McGarry, set in the magic-steeped realm of Eiden Myr.
The Dead Ring No. 166 is the second of the Blacklist novels to be released back before we began binging the show, Jon McGoran exploring a highly lucrative and deadly game known as the Dead Ring.
I hope you enjoy your new books! Some oldies but goodies there :)
