Stacking The Shelves and Mailbox Monday are a pair of weekly memes that are about sharing the books that came your way over the past week, and which you've added to your shelves - whether they be physical or virtual, borrowed or bought, or for pleasure or review.

The Apostates by Lars Teeney
New Megiddo has been born out of the ashes of America, under the strict dogma of its spiritual leader, while the President fights to hold onto his power in the face of a resistance group of Apostates.

Man Eater by Angela Ivy Bloom
When an urban fellow’s wife brings home a magical tome, hoping to ensure the solidity of their marriage by performing the Celtic ritual written inside, their relationship is transformed by its spell in a way that neither of them had bargained for.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is another weekly meme, this time focused on what books are spending the most time in your hands and in your head, as opposed to what's been added to your shelf.

On the digital front this week, I'm diving back into Crimson Shore by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child. On the physical front, I'm enjoying The Lightning Stones by Jack Du Brul and just started in on The King's Justice by Stephen R. Donaldson.

What's topping your shelves this week?

  1. by the look of it THE KING'S JUSTICE would wet my appetite most :)

  2. I don't recognize any of the books here but I am familiar with some of the authors, though I haven't tried any of their books. Hope you enjoy them! I'm up to my eyes in zombies this week!

  3. Looks like a quiet week for you! *hides own pile guiltily* Hope you enjoy the new books.

  4. Looking forward to your thoughts on The King's Justice. I have this to read as well, and I'm curious to know if they are indeed two stand alone novellas.
