Stacking The Shelves & What I'm Reading

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme being hosted by Tynga's Reviews, while Mailbox Monday is being hosted by Suko’s Notebook this month (see Mailbox Monday for each month's host). Both memes are all about sharing the books you've added to your shelves - physical and virtual, borrowed and bought. It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Book Journey, and it's focused on what's in your hands, as opposed to what's on your shelf.

Sadly, there is still no sign of my long-awaited Kobo Glo, and I was stymied three times in my attempts to pick up a discounted Blackberry Playbook this weekend (damn you, Staples!), so the Cyber Monday sale over at BookCloseOuts.com came in very handy. Honestly, where else are you going to get a stack of books like this for under $20!

All the Windwracked Stars by Elizabeth Bear
Beneath the Dark Ice by Greig Beck
Spirit Gate (Crossroads, Book 1) by Kate Elliott
The Immortal Prince (The Tide Lords Quartet) by Jennifer Fallon
Sabre by James Follett
The Fifth Ring by Mitchell Graham
In the Eye of Heaven by David Keck
The Eternity Artifact by L.E. Modesitt Jr.
The Unremembered by Peter Orullian
Lamentation by Ken Scholes

That's not all, though. I also got an advance ARC of the new King Rolen's King novella from Rowena Cory Daniells, entitled The King's Man.

As for what I'm reading, I have several titles on the go:

What's topping your shelves this week?

  1. Ooh nice! I'm definitely with you there on your title and needing more shelves!! I ran out a long time ago and still have more books to add! Although I did run out of room to hold more shelves in my room as well!

Hope you enjoy all your new reads!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by!

    Have a GREAT weekend!

  4. I am not even sure where to put more shelves at this point. I would love to have someone come in and do a wall of custom shelving.
What great finds for under $20. I had never visited BookCloseOuts.com, but just opened it in another tab to take a look. Thanks for the heads up.

  12. I took advantage of some of the Cyber Monday deals, too! I bought e-books though. I hope all your new books are good ones. I have the Jennifer Fallon book on my shelf and really need to get to it!

Hopefully your Kobo Glo will arrive soon. I bought one last month and like it more than I thought I would (I also have a Kindle Touch, which I love, so wasn't sure how I would like using a Kobo).

    BTW - I'm a new follower.
